Title I Mission Statement
District and school-based Title I parent involvement programs in Polk County will strive every day to build relationships with all of its stakeholders and create real family engagement.
Title I Overview
Components of Title I are:
Effective Instruction
Professional Development
Parental Involvement
Studies show that the more parents are involved in the education of their children, the more academically successful the children will be. The goal of the Title I Parent Involvement Program at Winter Haven High School is to give school-based personnel the information, materials, and resources needed to provide support for our students and parents at WHHS. Our Parent Involvement personnel’s job is to give parents the tools and resources necessary to help their child(ren) at home. Everyone working together, in this way, gives the child the best possible support for being academically and socially successful!
Parents-Right to Know
Families at Winter Haven High School have a right to know the professional qualifications of our teachers and paraprofessionals.
